Sierra Leone is poised to become one of the biggest success stories in Africa, and offers tremendous investment opportunities.

The stability is increasing which means that the Tourism and Culture Ministry has been able to gain first-class hotels and holiday businesses which are more commonly linked to luxury developments in Europe.

Sierra Leone is preparing itself for a tourism boom with its fabulous beaches and diverse landscape and of course, the friendly, warm people.

The country has substantial mineral and fishery resources and great agricultural potential. Gold, diamonds, ilmenorutile, rutile, manganese, bauxite, iron ore, platinum, cassiterite, chromite, molybdenite, not to mention the forests, rich fishing grounds and abundant fresh water.

Sierra Leone has a unique landscape, spectacular scenery and an incredible cultural heritage which is just waiting to be explored. It's coastline consists of about 360 kilometres with magnificent, white sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. Sierra Leone offers its visitors a historic heritage, fabulous flora and fauna, mountains and unequalled natural beauty.

Mount Bintumani
West Africa's highest point with it's peak at 1945m (6380ft). The national reserve protects rainforest containing many primate species. Above the 1500m mark (4920ft) the forest opens grassland where you can see the likes of baboons, warthogs and buffaloes. When the sky is clear, the views of the summit are breathtaking.
